With every passing day, the excitement and passion of cricket lovers are reaching their peak. Pakistan Super League (PSL) is one of the most anticipated leagues globally, and its season 9 narrowed down in just a few days.
PSL is known for introducing new talents to the cricket industry and has featured star players since the beginning. This quality makes this event exciting and most awaited each time.

Pakistan Super League
Pakistan Super League was introduced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015 as a franchise twenty20 cricket league. The 6 cricket teams face each other in a page playoff system and double round-robin pattern.
This year, the ninth edition of PSL is planned to take place from 17 February to 18 March 2024. The league is decided to take place in four cities of Pakistan.
PSL Season 9 Teams
During the initial years of PSL, 5 teams were part of it, including Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, and Karachi Kings. Later, Multan Sultans also joined the league, making a total of 6 teams.

National Bank Stadium, Karachi
Most PSL 9 matches will be hosted at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. These are 11 matches, including the qualifiers, two eliminators, and the most important ones, The Finals!
The stadium holds a special place in hosting some memorable and historic cricket matches. For example, Islamabad won the 2018 PSL season here. Fans are looking forward to witnessing some exciting cricket here.
2. Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi
Pindi Cricket Stadium will host 9 PSL matches in this edition. Islamabad United will have a chance to play 5 matches in their home ground. The stadium is known for its electrifying boundaries, with many sixes hit out of the ground in the last season.
In addition, the stadium also has a history of highest run chase matches, where Multan Sultans scored 262 runs against Quetta Gladiators. The major highlight of that match was Usman Khan, who scored the fastest PSL 100 in just 36 balls.
3. Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Located in Lahore, Pakistan, Gaddafi Stadium is one of the most beautiful stadiums. It will host 9 PSL matches, including the most important, the opening match of the league, and Lahore Qalandar will play the first match of the league at its home.
Ben Dunk played one of the most remarkable innings, where he hit 12 sixes, made a thrilling 99 runs, and won a match for his team, Lahore Qalandars, against Karachi Kings. It is expected that people will witness more thrilling matches here.
4. Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan
Like the previous PSL season, Multan will only host 5 matches this year. Multan Sultan will play 5 matches in its home ground.
In the past seasons, the stadium has hosted some fantastic and nail-biting cricket matches, including Rile Rossouw scoring 100 in just 43 balls against Quetta Gladiators in PSL 5. Cricket fans are also excited to see some batters hitting boundaries on this ground this year.
